When will you receive
your refund? It all depends on how you filed your return. The IRS should issue
your refund check within six to eight weeks of filing a paper return.
However, starting with tax year 2012, the IRS will start phasing out the receipt
of paper returns and requires Tax Preparers to send in Form 8948 for clients
that do not opt for e-filing . If you chose
to receive your refund through direct deposit, you should receive it within three to six weeks.
If you use e-file, your refund should be issued between two and three weeks.
